Within the site’s Injury Prevention & Control center, visitors to the site will find detailed information on concussion and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). Content includes an overview of TBI, describing what it is, how many people are affected, the leading causes of TBI, as well as risk factors for TBI. Additional sections address the signs, symptoms and effects of mild TBI, as well as information on severe TBI. In addition to providing information specific to adults and TBI, content covering children and teens and TBI is also included in the Heads Up Concussion section.
